About Me

Buying or selling a home is more than a transaction. It is sometimes complicated, often overwhelming, and always emotional. I pride myself on making sure my clients’ experience is the best it can be via thorough education, abundant communication, and a deep understanding of the details that matter.

I know San Francisco. I’ve lived in the Bay Area for over three decades, and have been a tour guide in San Francisco for nearly two of them. I know the city’s history, its geology, and its culture.

I know homes. Growing up in the South, I was always involved in building and maintaining homes, from foundations to electrical and heating. I know when a house has good bones—and when there are potential pitfalls.

I know my clients. Buying or selling a home is about more than just location and money. It affects your entire lifestyle. I take the time to really understand my clients’ needs so I deliver results that exceed expectations.

I know the process. I take great care to educate my clients so there are no surprises, but sometimes unexpected events arise. When they do, I roll up my sleeves and do what needs to be done to keep the ball moving forward.

What my clients are saying

"We appreciated his honesty, his commitment to getting us the best deal for our property, and his work ethic. We can’t say enough about dpaul’s expertise and understanding of the San Francisco real estate market. If you want your home sold quickly and for a good price, give dpaul brown your listing!"

"dpaul is professional, friendly, and is (literally) a walking encyclopedia of all things San Francisco.  I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend him to anyone searching for the ‘right’ home."

"He was amazing to work with. The house we ended up buying is in our neighborhood and under our budget, and we probably wouldn't even have looked at it without his encouragement. In sum, dpaul's help was indispensable at every step of the process, and I can't imagine a better experience with a realtor."
