I've lived in the Bay Area for more than three decades, mostly in in the heart of San Francisco. I currently live in homey Noe Valley, but I have a deep passion for all corners of our magnificent city. I enjoy applying my knowledge of the city’s culture, history, and topography to the current real estate market conditions to find the perfect solution for my clients‘ desires and needs, whether they’re looking for a loft in the urban center or a roomy home in one of our many charming neighborhoods. I have a keen eye for detail, spotting potential often overlooked by others, and strive to bring the best possible opportunities to my clients.
I came into real estate with a long history building products and services for some of the largest companies in the country. My success in that arena came from careful listening to clients‘ needs, pairing them with a realistic eye to available conditions, and getting all parties on board with the final solution. Buying and selling homes is no different; it requires team effort, and my experience bringing people together to an optimal solution for all involved is invaluable.
For more than a decade I’ve been an active volunteer guide with San Francisco City Guides, leading free walking tours of the Mission Dolores and Castro neighborhoods, and was the board chair of the organization, managing the rapidly growing group of hundreds of volunteers. A visual arts major, I have chosen the camera as my tool of expression, especially in combination with my passion for travel and food.
What clients are saying
"We appreciated his honesty, his commitment to getting us the best deal for our property, and his work ethic. We can’t say enough about dpaul’s expertise and understanding of the San Francisco real estate market. If you want your home sold quickly and for a good price, give dpaul brown your listing!"
"dpaul is professional, friendly, and is (literally) a walking encyclopedia of all things San Francisco. I would not hesitate for a minute to recommend him to anyone searching for the ‘right’ home."
"He was amazing to work with. The house we ended up buying is in our neighborhood and under our budget, and we probably wouldn't even have looked at it without his encouragement. In sum, dpaul's help was indispensable at every step of the process, and I can't imagine a better experience with a realtor."
